The iris reflex?

a) protects the retina from too much light



b) lets the retina detect coloured light



c) changes the shape of the lens



d) stops the eyeball from drying out

a) is correct



the iris controls the size of the pupil so that the right amount of light enters. if too much enters at once, it'll damage the retina



b) is wrong because retina detects colour. the iris has no capability



c) no, muscles holding the lens change its shape



d) no, the cornea surrounds the eye to contain the humour inside
