Iris or Evan?

my cuz is pregnant ,she has 2 daughters named Jasmine and serena already. what do u think of these names for a girl.and which is the best ,and which goes best with the other 2 names?like Lyric and Asia for middle names

Iris or Evan?
iris is good. three sisters--"jasmine,serena,iris." wow.
Reply:I like Evan better, but I have never met a girl named Evan, so people will expect her to be a boy when they see her name on a class list.
Reply:Evan for a girl? Are you serious? She's gonna get teased and substitute teachers (and teachers on the first day of school) are going to be looking for a boy. She'll continually get referred to by people who don't know her as a "he." Iris is a pretty name that won't confuse people.

Iris is pretty, but I don't think it works well with the middle names you suggested. To me, "Iris Asia" and "Iris Lyric" trip off the tongue awkwardly more than they flow gracefully. Maybe consider something with three syllables for a middle name, with the same stress pattern as Joanna (jo-AN-na). The last name is also something to take into consideration. Read the whole name and all its possible forms (first and last, first or middle initial used instead of the whole name, etc.) to see how well it works.
Reply:Evan is a boys name not a girls name! Iris is a nice name but not paired with either Lyric or Asia.try Iris Elizabeth instead.here are a few others you might like. Veronica Hope or Constance Marie or Megan Diane or Viola Mae or Rosalie Lynnette or Ginger Nadine ? good luck.
Reply:I love the name Iris! It is on my list of favorite baby names. I also love the name Aurora.
Reply:I like Evan better...
Reply:Sorry, I don't really care for either of those names and I don't really think they fit well with Jasmine and Serena.

Consider:

Arabella

Arianna

Charlotte

Rebecca

Vanessa
Reply:Evan is a boy's name. Sorry, it's just not feminine to most of the English speaking world. Iris...well, is nothing special to me as a name.

Remind your cousin that when you name a child, you are 'dressing them for life' in that name. Choose carefully what that name represents and what the name's common trait is among those who are named it. (there is a study found that the phonetic sound of a name said over and over to a baby/child can somehow determine common behaviour patterns)
Reply:I actually LOVE the name India for a girl...very original and girlie ;)
Reply:I like BOTH names. I like Evan better, its a fav of mine boy or girl. I would have named my son Evan but my husband and brother both have names way too close for it to work for us.
Reply:I prefer Evan as a boy's name (my brother's name is Evan), but it isn't so harsh sounding that it would sound butch on a girl. Maybe give it a feminine spelling like Evinne. It will look girly enough on paper that people reading her name will think twice before assuming she's a boy. I definitely like it better than Iris.
Reply:Not crazy about either of them. Neither sound very pretty to me. Actually, I like Lyric or Asia better for first names. (Evan sounds like a boy's name to me. )
Reply:i dont know

delylah evan

delilah taylor

danielle aisa
Reply:I love the name Evan for a girl ..and also like the name Iris(Which i think goes better with the other two names)

I LOVE the name Lyric but for boy and as a first name.
Reply:Wrong! Evan is a boy name. Evangeline is a girl name.
Reply:I think Evan Lyric sounds good together and Evan goes better with the other two names.
