Those are seed pods. It may be too late in the season for them to flower this year...don't worry you will have blooms next year and the bulbs multiply quickly.
I planted Iris . Now that they are not flowering, on the end of 4 are big green bulbs. What are these things?
It won't hurt anything if you plant the pods...I don't know if they will grow anything or not...iris' grow from bulbs. After you get a good bunch growing you can seperate by digging a couple up and pull the bulbs apart and plant each one for new iris'. Report It
