HELLLO i have a black spot right above my right iris. i was scared at first but i just noticed that it has?

always been there. i think that spot is gettin darker and bigger(thats what i think dont kno if its true) can anybody help me with this?

Is it on the actual pupil (darkest center) or on the brown part surrounding that?

Spots on the iris aren't a big deal. Mine green and are speckled with a few black spots. I don't know how you would notice one on your pupil though.



I would say don't worry, but no harm going for an eye exam. Good luck!
Reply:get your eyes checked as you can,t be to care-full. the optician will want to know if there is any glaucoma or such like in your family.
Reply:I have had a dark spot, browned eyed too, on my eye as well described as a pigment spot like a freckle by my opthamologist. Harmless and not affecting anything has gotten darker and a little bigger over the years but my opthamologist and FP have never been concerned.
Reply:Visit an eye specialist. He'll be able to tell you what's happened. Maybe the spot becoming bigger is just your imagination.
Reply:Go to the eye Doctor before it gets worse.
Reply:I have a spot like that too. It's always been there. You're just noticing it now and starting to obsess about it and it's appearing to get bigger and darker. Just relax and try not to worry about it too much.
