it is supposed to be malnourishment. lack of sleeping. lack of certain vitamins.. try to take good care about your nourishment.
Reply:in iridoligy it's called Ring of Purpose is a dark band around the iris, indicating that the skin is not functioning properly. These people do not sweat easily (lack of detoxification), have increased mucous production and kidney stress. If you have just noticed this please go to your GP or doctor to get checked, especially your endocrine system.
Reply:Genetics. The same thing that causes your hair colour, your nose to be big, your eyelobes to be small, your smile to be crooked ....

Ignore the iridology answer. Iridology is hooey, no truth in it.
Reply:the black part of your eye is supposed to be the dead part of your eye but its not. What I've noticed about that part of your eye is that when you think alot the black part gets smaller, but when you don't think it gets bigger. It's supposed to be something that is a second vision.
Reply:Wow, you've got some odd answers here! OK, I don't think it's a big deal. Have you always had it? I know a lot of people with eyes like that and they are perfectly healthy! It's just something you're born with, like the optometrist said. I have green eyes with a dark blue ring around the outside....it's normal.
