What's the name of the ability where a person's iris invonluntarily dialate/contract without light stimulation

I went to my neurologist a few years ago complaining of migraine; he performed an overall check up and found that my pupil's dialated and contracted constantly, even without his little flashlight. He told me the name of what was happening, but in that time I've forgotten it. Please, even if you have two cents to put in it would help.

THis pupil reaction is called hippus and is normal in most people.
