HOW can i know which programm is using net on my PC?HELP. iris can you hep?

go to command prompt and type



netstat -a

This will give you the listing of all conenctions



netstat - b

This will give you the name of the program used.

Yours could be internet explorer, firefox or opera. they have diff. layouts. your programe has its name on the topmost part.
Reply:Sounds like your asking with program is useing the internet, which is IE most likely, You need to reword again, I saw your other post I still dont understand.
Reply:check your firewall settings and check the

taskmgr

click on start /search

click on all files %26amp; folders

type in the box

taskmgr

then click on search

when you see the green computers monitor icon name taskmge stop the search

and right click on the

taskmgr

icon and click on copy

then right click on a free space on the desktop and click on paste

now close off the search window

and click on the taskmag

then click on the processes

tab and see what is running there

and chck your firewall settings if you have a firewall and see what you let have access to the internet



and also if you use a router for internet acess it dont matter if its cable router or not and it you have other computers that is on as well by usb or network cards witeless get this done



you do make sure you call your (isp) or this will happen

is your pc still slow %26amp; your internet you have done a full system scan

with your anit virus /anti spyware you even defragmenter your hard drive

done a scan disk but your pc is still slow and your internet is not as good

then you need to check your router it dont mater what router you have



people in the vicinity is on your network



you call your (isp)

GET THIS SET TO DISABLED

is your router safe?

you need to call your (isp) server

they have to get you in to your router home page

then from there ..copy %26amp; paste the router home page

into a notepad then save that to a back up cd



now from there they have to take you to the part

where (GAMES %26amp; APPLICATION SHARING ) is

then you click on ( GAMES %26amp; APPLICATION SHARING) icon

then at the top of the page on the right your see

configure.. you click on configure

then you .. UN-TICK .. the box ( GAMES %26amp; APPLICATION SHARING)

that is ticked there ...

then you click look down the page your see

%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;APPLY %26lt; %26lt; tab click on APPLY



if you have a wireless router

and then ask them where you set up a wpa-security key dont use a 128bit wep key ask to use a wpa- security that is your router security key and you pick the wpa-security key not your (isp)server . just ask them where you set one up they will say use a wep-key ..ignore them you say your going to use a wpa.key and want to know how to set one up and remember you pick the wpa-key not your (isp)server or they will use your network



now you close off the page

and clean out your internet address bar
