Can Iris bulbs flower in an office with no natural sun light?

Irisis require full sun..........I'm not sure office lights would qualify. Are they turned down or off early? Growing time for irisis is when they are getting more hours of daylight. What's the worse that can happen? The bulb may rot from not enough light.........

Not sure about irises, but I have had geraniums bloom in a fluorescent light only environment.
Reply:If you water them they will bulb
Reply:Florescent light provides the same ultraviolet rays that sunlight does.
Reply:Probably not. You possibly may get one or two to put up one straggly flower, but the performance will be pretty poor. Office lights just don't have the intensity needed for something like iris.
