Does anyone have similar philosophy beliefs to Iris Murdoch?

I really fell in love with her work and did my final end of year exam on her work.

Does anyone else know of her philosophy?

I'm find myself agreeeing with a lot of Murdoch's philosophical thought.

Murdoch herself was somewhat of a philosophical anachronism. A twentieth-century philosopher, she eschewed postmodernism and moral relativism. She didn't believe, a la Foucault, that power, truth, and goodness were "social constructs." She thought they were things that could be found in nature, and that moral goodness was something that could be cultivated.

Like another intelligent poster said, she is mainly noted for her Platonic sympathies.
Reply:I read her book on Sartre, but I have to say that I didn't like it. She has to have the credit for writing the first notable study of Sartre in English, but it didn't do much to illuminate his thought (IMHO).

She's better known as a Platonist.
Reply:She is a woman!

Her philosophy must be a Lie!
