Just curious what other people think, because I really like these songs.
What do you think the song "Iris" means, AND also the song "For You I Will (Confindence)"?
The song Iris says a lot to me. For one thing, it seems like he's saying that he loves her and he never wants to let her go. He thinks the world is misunderstanding and doesn't think that everyone would comprehend the huge amount of love that he has for her.
For You I Will doesn't say much, but it has a strong message. It seems like he's saying that he's going to build up all the confidence he has, and take all his fear and just chuck it out the window. He'll do anything for that girl.
