What month does the flower iris comes out?

I would like to get these flowers for my daughter for mother's day

What month does the flower iris comes out?
I believe they are currently being sold at garden centers. If not you can get her a lilly or something to that affect.
Reply:Depends where you live. In zone 2 %26amp; 3 in Canada it will be a few more weeks before they bloom.
Reply:If you are looking for Irises to plant, then they usually are for sale in early August. I used to work at a garden centre/mail-order company.

If you go to a florist, however, you can buy cut Irises all year long. Don't know if you want to go that route.
