Reply:I don't think anyone should ever cover a song sung by Johnny Rzeznik because no one can ever compare to his voice. and i just have to say if people start saying they like the song iris by ronan keating I will be so mad

Reply:Yess!!! Ronan Keating sounds too sappy/ whiny to be covering rock songs that take a bit more than functional vocal chords to perform. He should stick to Kenny Rogers. Glad you've outgrown the bubblegum trash and moved on to real music. Peace.
Reply:I have to agree. I used to like Ronan, but I thought he was getting very crap lately. Then when I heard he had covered the goo goo dolls I was dreading hearing it, and when I did I found that as expected he had ****** up an amazing song. I heard it first in "City of Angels" and have loved it ever since. On the same theme, the song "Angel" by Sarah Mclaughlin from the same film was murdered by Westlife. What is it with Irish people and killing classics?

When was the last time Ronan did an original song, and not a bad cover of a great song. Awwwfull.

He should be beaten about the nadgers with a baseball bat with nails through it....may improve his singing range anyway if nothing else!
